ExplorR Global is a 3D location-based app that provides a truly unique exploration experience, allowing every user to be an explorer whereby they create their own journeys spontaneously and leave memories on places they have just discovered. As users open our app, the world map is blurred except within a radius of where the user is currently located at. The map only reveals itself and shows places of interest as the user embark on his journey. As users discover new places, they immerse themselves into other people’s stories through our ‘location memoir’ system – when the user physically arrives on the POI, they can see memoirs left behind by other ‘explorers’ who have previously discovered the place or they can leave behind their own memoirs.
Travelling to a foreign land was meant to be exciting, exhilarating, and adventurous. what lies ahead in our destination remains a mystery for us to uncover. Yet with so much information available on the internet, we know so much about our destination that modern travelling experience has degenerated into mere fulfillment of expectations. We have lost that excitement of discovery.
We want to bring that excitement of unplanned spontaneous exploration back into modern travel with ExplorR.
